Franck Bufi is a film director whose work navigates the space between the interior and the exterior — stories that observe people in moments of transition, displacement or quiet revelation. His visual language is precise, unhurried and deeply attentive to texture, light and the weight of silence.
Trained in cinema and visual arts, Franck developed his sensibility through years of working across short film, documentary and music video — each format sharpening his instinct for storytelling economy: how much to show, how much to leave unseen.
His current project, Bye, Bye, Paradise, is a feature film in development. A meditation on borders — physical, emotional, invisible. Set between worlds, between languages, between memory and the present moment. A story about the islands we carry inside us.
He collaborates closely with his cinematographers, sound designers and performers, building creative teams that share a common sensibility and a willingness to find the unexpected within the prepared.
